Travelling has always been one of my passions and it led to the founding of KonTour Travel. I grew up in Colombia raised by Swiss/German parents and thus combine a Colombian heart with Swiss heritage to ensure we offer unique Colombian experiences that run like clockwork. Understanding European’s expectations and knowing what can be really be done in Colombia allows me to design a product portfolio tailored to the discerning traveller. This approach is key to our success: know whom to sell, know what you sell and sell what you know. And since I still love to travel and explore I’m always on the lookout for new experiences. So drop me a mail if you’d like to know about really off the beaten track tours in Colombia.

Working in tourism has given me the opportunity to realize that Colombia is a very complete and attractive destination: the history of Cartagena, the colonial architecture of Barichara and Villa de Leyva, the archaeological wealth of San Agustín, the contact with the nature and communities in the Amazon region, to name just a few of the many activities to be undertaken and places to visit. In addition to this, we have the human warmth of its people and the quality of service that has positively been surpassed in a relatively new industry.
I love to ensure that the wishes and expectations of the clients are met and even exceeded, as well as communicate with different people from different backgrounds, who allow you to learn from other cultures and improve professional skills with limiting situations that puts you to the test, so there is always room for innovation.

Born and raised in Colombia I had the chance to live its beauty from childhood on. Thanks to extensive journeys I learned much about the country and could marvel at its incredible variety of landscapes, flora and fauna. The joyful and hearty Colombians do the rest to confirm my fondness for this country.
With my bicultural roots and a degree in sociology and intercultural communication I am fond of bringing together people from diffrent cultures and thereby hopefully share the passion for this wonderful and exotic country.

I came for the first time to South America for an internship in Chile. While travelling around this beautiful country I was fascinated by its beauty. A few years later, I came back to South America while I was still doing my Tourism Speciality; I was engaged as an exchange student at a Colombian university for two semesters in Bogotá. I got to know this country and its people through my curiosity and love for travelling, always looking for my own adventure off the beaten track. At the end of my first stay in Colombia, I was at the airport and I already knew that I would come back soon. Currently I am living in Bogotá and want to help you with your personalised travel package full of unforgettable experiences.

In 2012 I came to Latin America for the first time as part of an exchange year in Costa Rica and discovered my love of the Spanish language and intercultural encounters. A few years later I decided to do an internship in Colombia as part of my tourism studies and soon realized that I wanted to stay here. Because of my constant thrive for new experiences and learning about history and culture I soon got to love the diversity of the country and the kindness of its people. I am passionate about passing on my fascination for Colombia to you!

Proud and in love with this beautiful country called Colombia, convinced that a better morning begins with a good cup of coffee, that every step you take in the world is an opportunity to learn and grow. This is precisely what has led me to walk and travel through different destinations, to get to know other cultures, to take care of, respect and preserve each of the places visited, always keeping the hope of returning. It is a pleasure as a hostess to invite you to know my house and to fall in love with a country of folklore, flavors and nuances, of biodiversity, music and colour, of friendly smiles and places with unique landscapes.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, with more than 15 years of experience in the Tourism sector, proudly showing to the world the most diverse and friendly country, Colombia. Two passions, photography and travelling, have allowed me to combine these two professions, discovering every place with my photographer’s eye, so I don’t miss any detail, especially on the people who inhabit each place and their traditions in each region of the country.
I love interacting with the locals, because in each corner there is a different story, from the person who welcomes you with a smile at each airport, terminal, to the grandfather who shares his memories of why his town is the best place to live in Colombia. Every mountain, every sunset, every typical Colombian dish is an opportunity to learn from our culture and to appreciate more and more what we have around, thanks to this I have become an expert not a travel salesman, but an expert seller of experiences.

The desire to have living experiences in countries other than my own began very early as I moved to California when I was 10 years old. Returning to France, it was obvious to me that tourism would be my specialty and that organizing beautiful trips for others would make me happy. After studying tourism in the city of Nantes, I left for Peru and discovered South America by working for a small local agency. A few years later, the opportunity presented itself for me to go to Colombia and I fell under the charm of its colors, its great diversity, but also the eternal joy of the locals. Now living in Bogota, I will be happy to personally take care of your travel plans to my adoption country.

I love to explore new places, learn about different cultures and search for the next big adventure, so when I had the chance to go abroad during my studies, I chose Colombia. I studied one semester at a university in Medellín and instantly fell in love with the diversity of the country, it’s warm and welcoming people, the language and the culture. Near the end of the semester, I realized I was not yet ready to leave this beautiful country and decided to stay in Colombia and do an internship at KonTour Travel in Bogotá. After working in the field of Sales and Operations, I am now supporting the Product Management team from Germany.

During my tourism management studies I did an internship for KonTour Travel at the office in Bogotá. From the first day on I fell in love with the country, the people and the special atmosphere. Therefore, I was more than happy that even after my internship there was a place for me in the KonTour family. Since then, I am supporting the team from Germany in the fields of Marketing and Sales.

Born in the heart and soul of coffee, the city of the sunset factory, Manizales. Motivated to travel and sharing with people, I studied Cultural and Communication Management, a career that allowed me to discover beautiful paradises, cultures and exotic dishes that can only be seen in my country, Colombia.

I am a proud Colombian, exactly from “that green magic where the blue of the sky melt together with its soil” (saying from the Llanos). It is an honor to present Colombia, the country of joy, flowers and coffee. From its deserts with their imposing dunes to the virgin jungles with their still unknown fauna, from its blue seas to its snowy peaks, from its cold mountain ranges to its hot canyons, this country opens its doors for you to enjoy it. As a visitor you will be captivated by the beauty of the place.
I am a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from the University Francisco de Paula Santander, 5 years ago I arrived in the city of Bogota with expectations of job opportunities and in Kontour Travel I found the opportunity to know and enjoy even more of my country.

My passion is to travel and I have had the opportunity to have different experiences like climbing a snowy mountain, discovering the wonders at the Pacific coast where we can find a beautiful cove, surrounded by waterfalls that descend throughout its landscape, the Caribbean coast with its beautiful beaches, Boyaca with its beautiful landscape. Furthermore, every day I have the opportunity to delight me with our exquisite and diverse cuisine of my region, Bogotá. I am in love with my country and every day again with Bogotá.
And that is the reason why I think the work done by Kontour Travel is wonderful, showing the beauty of the different places that can be found in Colombia.
