At the airport, our guide welcomes you and takes you to the beautiful historic centre, La Candelaria. The area will enchant you with its narrow streets and colourful colonial houses with small court-yards.
The first stop is Monserrate, Bogotá’s vantage point, from which you have an excellent view over the city. Then you will walk through the narrow streets of the old city to the Plaza Bolívar, Bogotá’s main square. The excursion continues when you walk along the séptima street, one of Bogotá’s principal paths and arrive to the renovated Gold Museum, a must whilst visiting Bogotá with its unique collection of pre-Columbian gold jewellery. Here you find out more about the indigenous population of the country and the mystical story of the „Golden“– El Dorado. The excursion heads afterwards to the Botero Museum in a beautiful colonial restored house which gathers a versatile collection of the Colombian and other world renowned contemporary and classic artists.
Your guide will then take you back to the airport for your onward flight and will assist you when checking in.
